Categories: First or second work of Portuguese filmmaker; Portuguese Student film; Portuguese and International filmmaker
Requirements: Films on art and artists. Submissions on DVD PAL (Eurozone). Films that were submitted in previous editions and were not selected, can not be submitted again. Producers and filmmakers can submit more than one film.The screening prints or copies that do not have original versions in English, should have English subtitles.
Awards: TEMPS D’IMAGE FILM AWARD (any length) for the best film on art; TEMPS D’IMAGE STUDENT FILM AWARD (any length) for the best Portuguese student film on art; TEMPS D’IMAGE FILM FOR ART AWARD (any length) for a film with reflects the importance of arts in human society in the most original way; TEMPS D’IMAGE FILM AWARD – 2 Special Mentions

Porto (Early October): U.Frame International Academic Video Festival

Deadline: July, 30th
Categories: Animation, Documentary, Experimental and Fiction.
Requirements: Participants should be college students or graduates, who have completed their degree less than a year prior to the date of the Festival and every work must be original. The author guarantees its authorship and takes full responsibility for any possible complaints.

The maximum length of films participating in the Official Competition is 25 minutes.

Copies in VHS, miniDV, or DVD Video (PAL)* are accepted for pre-selection.

The selected works must be presented in DV, miniDV, DVCAM, DVD Video or HDV and must be subtitled or dubbed in Portuguese, Galician, Castilian or English.
Awards: Jury First Prize, given to best work in the official competition  / Audience Prize  / Best Documentary / Best Fictional Film / Best Animation Film / Best Experimental Film / Honourable Mentions
