What does it cost to register on The Reelshow?
Nothing, its free.
What does it cost me to have my film hosted on The Reelshow ?
Nothing, its free.
Is there a limit/maximum length my film has to be?
Yes, 25 minutes is the limit.
Does my film have to be subtitiled if it is not in English?
Your film can be in any language with subtitles or not, it is entirely up to you . If your film is entered for one of our competitions/festivals,with an international panel of judges, then subtitiles are strongly recommended.At the very least a good story line written in English is definitley worthwhile – but it is your call.
Can I upload as many films as I want?
You can upload a maximum of 25 minutes as one film or a maximum of 2 titles ( total of 25 minutes) to the Reelshow server. Each film file uploaded to our server must not be bigger than 500MB.
You can always ask to have a film taken off if you want to upload another at a later date.Follow this link Upload your film for all details.
Can I re-upload a new version of a film already on the site?
Of course you can! Just let us know ( use contact form – see above)
What do I do if I no longer want my film/s hosted by Reelshow International.
Contact us (see contact form LINK above)and your film/s will be removed as soon as possible.
Do I have to be a film student or graduate to put my film on the site?
Students studying film at high school; film school; college/university film faculties, long distance learning courses and film student graduates, who have graduated not more than 3 years ago, can upload films in the Student Films section of the site.So, if you graduated in 2010, thats OK! We also welcome film school/university films that have been made by classes or groups of students from 2010 onwards.Please make sure at least one of the student production team register on the the Reelshow site.
Does Reelshow International really have a global audience?
Yes and our membership and film uploads are without doubt international. Check us out!
Are films made in high school accepted?
Students studying film at high school; film school; college/university film faculties, film courses and film student graduates, who have graduated not more than 3 years ago, can upload films onto the site.
Can Film Schools or University Faculties submit films?
Yes, We also welcome film school/university films that have been made by classes or groups of students from 2010 onwards.But please make sure at least one of the student production team registers with the site.
How can I submit my film to the site?
Films can either be uploaded to the site or you can send us a You Tube or Vimeo link. Please note you must register on the site and complete a film submission form either way.
What do I do if I want to upload my film to the site.
Log in(register first) then go to the submit film section and complete the film submission form. You can then proceed to the upload page. You must fill out the film submission form before uploading your film as we cannot show a film without its completion. See the LINKS above.
What are the technical requirements for uploading my film on to the site?
All the technical requirement details are included on the upload film registration form. Please note there is a 500MB film file limit for uploading to our server.
Film and Music copyright.
The site terms and conditions have to be accepted before you can upload your film. Please pay particular attention to the music copyright clause.

Details of Competitions and Festivals that we hold on the site will be posted on our Competition and Festival site. Rules for each competition or festival may differ.
